I teach Crime and Punishment as a summer reading novel, so my students have already read the book when they return to school in the fall. I then spend about a week reviewing the book with them (using the FREE unit packet linked below), and then we take a “Summer Reading Unit Test” and write 1-2 essays. You can find my tests and essay prompts here.

Are you looking for engaging discussion prompts, worksheets, and activities to pair with your Crime and Punishment unit? The after-reading activities in the document linked below include group discussion, class discussion, or homework you can assign after students have finished the novel.

This document was created as a printable for students to follow Mary Anne Kovacs’s original lesson, which you can find here.
