My mission? To pass on tools and ideas that work! I became a teacher largely because of my AMAZING high school English Lit teachers. (Shout out to Mrs. VanZante and Mrs. Shullaw!) Since becoming a teacher in 2011, my goal has always been to become the rockstar teacher my students will always remember. To achieve this goal, I strive to cultivate a learning environment where students feel seen, valued, insightful, and capable of tackling even the most challenging texts.
